Mayor Walsh has declared a snow emergency ahead of the forecasted mid-week winter storm. A parking ban in the City starts at 6 p.m. Residents can start parking at discounted garages at 4 p.m. today.

These include Design Review applications for Landmarks or Districts, as well as Article 85 Demolition Delay applications. All properties with approved exterior work in the Beacon Hill and South End Historic Districts now require an approval placard to be displayed on site for the duration of the project.

About the Commission

The Landmarks Commission (BLC) and the nine local historic district commissions are comprised of volunteers nominated by professional organizations and neighborhood groups. BLC staff support the commissions' work.
